Crypto Settlement Operations Lead

About the role

Crypto settlement is its own operational discipline: address rotation hygiene, FX exposure between stablecoin and fiat invoicing, on-chain confirmation tracking, off-ramp coordination with regulated counterparties. As crypto rails grow as a share of both customer top-ups and partner payouts, we expect to need a dedicated lead who runs the settlement playbook day-to-day rather than splitting it across engineering and finance.

What you'll do

  • Run daily crypto settlement: address pool rotation, on-chain reconciliation, off-ramp execution via licensed counterparties (Circle, Kraken Institutional).
  • Monitor stablecoin and BTC FX exposure against operational fiat needs; coordinate hedging with treasury.
  • Own AML / Travel Rule compliance for crypto transactions over reporting thresholds, in coordination with the compliance officer.

What we expect

  • 3+ years in crypto operations at an exchange, OTC desk, or crypto-native fintech.
  • Direct experience with stablecoin off-ramps (Circle, Bitstamp Institutional, Kraken) and on-chain reconciliation tools (Chainalysis, Elliptic).
  • Working knowledge of Travel Rule (FATF Recommendation 16), VARA / DIFC / MAS crypto licensing frameworks.

On the radar. Compensation is calibrated to local cost of living when we open this role — we publish bands when we begin interviewing, not before. USD-denominated regardless of jurisdiction, contractor or employment depending on your legal situation.
