Payment Operations Manager
About the role
Payments at DogeSMS span six rails — international card networks, regional wallets, stablecoin (USDT TRC-20), BTC Lightning, crypto checkout aggregation, and direct bank transfer for enterprise customers. Each rail has its own reconciliation cadence, chargeback handling, and refund pathway. This radar role exists for when we need a dedicated operations manager who owns the day-to-day payment surface across all rails: dispute resolution, refund SLA, settlement, financial close cooperation.
What you'll do
- Own daily payment operations: reconciliation across rails, refund processing within SLA, chargeback dispute coordination with card networks.
- Manage relationships with card-processor and crypto-checkout partners — commercial reviews, fee renegotiation, settlement cadence.
- Coordinate with the treasury team on cash positioning across fiat and stablecoin balances; partner with engineering on payment edge case investigations.
What we expect
- 4+ years in payment operations at a SaaS or marketplace company processing $10M+ annually across multiple rails.
- Direct experience with card-network dispute workflows, regional wallet integrations, and at least one crypto checkout flow.
- Strong spreadsheet fluency and comfort writing simple SQL for ad-hoc reconciliation queries.
Compensation
On the radar. Compensation is calibrated to local cost of living when we open this role — we publish bands when we begin interviewing, not before. USD-denominated regardless of jurisdiction, contractor or employment depending on your legal situation.
